Cole Todd Tactical Skating Director
Cole Todd is from North Vancouver, BC.
He played for the Vancouver North West Giants for two years, during his time with the Giants he was an
Assistant Captain and helped lead the team to two Provincial Championships and one Mac’s World
Invitational Championship. He continued his hockey career with the Prince George Spruce Kings (BCHL),
playing 3 years there, in his third year he was traded to the Fort McMurray Oil Barons (AJHL) and
finished out his career at 20 years old.
Cole began coaching after junior hockey at his home association, North Shore Winter Club. He assistant
coached the Atom A1 team for two years winning the regular season and playoff banners in his second
year. In his third year at NSWC, he assistant coached the Peewee A1 team, who placed 3 rd in provincials.
Cole played a big part in cookie monsters, initiation development, team development, and programming
at NSWC. He was on the NSWC Development Team for five years. Cole teaches tactics of skating and
structures his lesson plans around improving the skating IQ in game situational drills.
After coaching at NSWC, Cole started coaching at the elite level stream in the CSSHL with St. George’s
School. He was the Assistant Coach for the U15 Varsity team and coached at the School for 2 years.
